Running is so basic, right? So why so much debate over style? There are people who very fervently will tell you that running heel/toe/heel/toe like so many of us have for so long will kill you dead. And whereas it may not kill you, count me as one who thinks that it does do you harm, in that it beats up your body. Learning to run toe/heel/toe/heel may feel unnecessarily difficult, but the benefits are less wear and tear on the body, as well as much more efficient running. You want to run at a faster pace but use less energy? Thought so. Today’s WOD is a perfect way to practice. It has short runs, which will allow you to practice without over-exposing you. Smooches.
