Do I need experience or some minimum level of fitness?

CrossFit is for anyone, regardless of their age or fitness level. In short, if you care about health, real-world performance, or just want to look better at the beach, CrossFit is for you. There is no need to “get-in-shape” first and then come to CrossFit. We will take care of that here for you!
